2024 Booking Calendar is NOW OPEN.

Hey! Your hard-work has paid-off!!

Hello graduate & graduate-to-be. Your time has finally come. One more late night cram session, one more cup of coffee to keep you awake, and one last test to take, and you'll officially be an adult! You've worked tirelessly to get to this day, when you can finally walk across a stage and collect a piece of paper( your degree will be mailed in a month or so). So it's time to celebrate!

The best way to celebrate this momentous event is by capturing it with your friends and loved ones. My graduation shoots get booked pretty fast, so don't wait till the last minute to reach out to me( as I only shoot on weekends). Last spring, I booked about 50-ish shoots, and had to turn away so many clients because of the weather and overcrowding on campus due to other shoots. The earlier you get your graduation photos taken, the better it is.

LET'S TALK MONEY!!

How much does everything cost?? Here are my rates for 2021. 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to secure a date. Refunds will not be made under any circumstances besides medical( if proper proof is shown). Please understand that I am a small business, investing time into this. Every slot I book is a potential customer that is turned away, so I would appreciate it if you can understand where I am coming from. payment plans Payment plans are available for low-income students! (broken into 3 installments) -- due to high demand at present I'm not doing the low-income discounts anymore, sorry!! But will organize giveaways in the future to give back to my low-income students during off-peak grad season!

  • For sessions in SF there is a $50 dollar travel fee added to the cost of the session, which has to be paid in full at the time of the deposit.

REGULAR PRICES: UPDATED JANUARY 3 2024

All members of the group will receive edited images at each of the locations as well as group photos for the group sessions! (Individuals and group photos)

For all group packages, clients will receive an online gallery. This will include group images at least + 1-2 edited images of each individual at each of the locations we cover. The advantage of doing an individual session over a group session is that the client will get an entire hour to do more creative/unique shots. The advantage of doing a group session is the clients get a good deal, and it's cheaper than doing an individual session, and each member of the group gets individual shots.

(I would recommend large groups to book a minimum of 2 hours, unless you guys are super fast)

Some things to keep in mind while booking a shoot, whether it's with me or with someone else.

  1. Always consider the time that you're shooting at. Don't try to fit your grad shoot between classes or noon because the lighting is terrible and you will end up being unhappy with the photos. Either shoot in the morning, right around sunrise or when the sun is setting- aka golden hour which is an hour before the sunset (eg 5.15-6.15 early fall).
  2. Always do your hair, because hair is something that unfortunately cannot be photoshopped to perfection. Whatever style you want to do, do it and stick to it.
  3. Practice posing, and smiling in front of the mirror prior to the shoot. Figure out a posture, the way you are going to sit and stand in different locations. Feel free to look up samples online that you want to recreate and discuss with me in advantage. Planning leads to better photos that meet your expectations.
  4. A little tip- white happens to be the best color for grad shoots, and if you're not a fan of white, then go for lighter colors such as light blue and pastels. You could also go for a really bright red which actually looks quite beautiful. I would encourage avoiding colors like yellow, or outfits with a lot of design and floral patterns as they tend to clash with the sash.
  5. Get a good nights rest, bring water for hydration and please arrive to the shoot 5-10 minutes early( even if I'm not there). I've done shoots for the past three years and I have a pretty good idea of what I want to shoot and lighting. However, if this is your first time shooting, arriving early will help eliminate any anxiety and will allow you to familiarize yourself with the surrounding!
  6. After the shoot, I'd really appreciate it if you could tag my instagram @letmecaptureyouu or @mirthicat or my facebook account. This will really help me attract potential clients in the future! Furthermore, by agreeing to work with me, you are hereby agreeing to allow me to use the photos from the shoot on my portfolio, social media platforms etc for marketing purposes of my business. You can opt out of this by signing a contract with me prior to the shoot, but changes cannot be made post-shoot. As per law, the photographs are property of the photographer and unless agreed otherwise prior to the shoot.
  7. Lastly, I just want you guys to know that I am a CNR student and I am extremely passionate about having the smallest footprint possible while doing these shoots. Hence, I am not willing to do any shoots with glitter( micro-plastic) or any plastic like substance. Some alternatives that I am willing to work with are - paper confetti, balloons, food confetti(biodegradable), candles, sparkles and champagne if you guys promise to do it on the grassy area and clean up the bottle caps etc after the shoot.

I want this experience to be extremely memorable for you, so by being transparent with you guys I can avoid confusions and tension! OH, I ALMOST FORGOT! Here's sample of my work!!
